The Veterinary Bioscience Institute (VBI) offers electronic training for the all personnel utilizing mice and rats in the biomedical research including laboratory animal and veterinary technicians, scientists and veterinarians.

  • Surgical and biomethodology seminars and webinars
  • Surgical Standard Operating Protocols (SOP)
  • Surgical Animal Care and Use Committee (ACUC) Protocols



The Veterinary Bioscience Institute (VBI) offers mobile onsite training services for the all personnel utilizing rodents in the biomedical research including laboratory animal and veterinary technicians, scientists and veterinarians. VBI can provide:


VBI provides online ready-made with customization option:

  • Developing comprehensive rodent surgical training programs
  • Design (and set up) rodent surgical facilities
  • Identify and improve any weaknesses in existing surgical facilities and training programs
  • Establishing collaborative relationships
  • Providing customized on-site training solutions

The Veterinary Bioscience Institute (VBI) is an approved continuing education provider by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards Registry of Approved Continuing Education.  VBI's courses and workshops also meet the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science requirements for Continuing Education Units.
