This interactive webinar is designed for individuals, who are doing in vivo studies in rats with endpoints necessitating necropsy and collection of tissues. Participants will learn euthanasia methods, how to necropsy rats and identify and collect tissues of interest. Issues related to optimum handling and fixation of tissues, and proper histological orientation will be emphasized. This webinar will provide participants a thorough necropsy of the rat using a consistent method to guarantee maximum and ideal data collection

Who Should Attend?

 This interactive webinar is appropriate for scientists, veterinary technicians, veterinarians and technical support staff, postdocs, graduate students. This webinar is extensive enough for a novice but also provides an excellent review for more experienced personnel.

Procedures and methodologies are represented through videos and images.
